Green Resolution: Monthly Reuse Parties

How often have you cleaned out a closet, shed, barn, or garage and thrown out what you don’t want or think you can’t use?

We see a number of TV shows that highlight the fact that one person's trash is another's treasure. 

You might want to consider taking these items, which are no longer of interest, and have a yard sale or donate them to a charity. Another idea might be to have a clothing and item swap with your friends. Have them over and ask them to bring clothing or items that they are no longer interested in to trade or give away. It's a good reason to get together, and you can feel good knowing the things you don’t want are going to good use.  This might especially be handy for parents of children in different age brackets, as they grow out of so rapidly.
